    @maddesigns Yes, fair point! The value is nuanced. My latest strategy emulates font-display: optional when the CSS Font Loading API is not supported (Edge). It's be nice for that emulation JS to be unnecessary, especially since it has to use a polyfill. I'd take CSS Font Loading first though
