@TheLarkInn @czaplic for the record, I tend to prefer something a bit different since I loathe FOIT and this would be a form of file-induced FOIT I think? In a similar vein I usually ultra subset the first stage (with char info) and load the full font later—see zachleat.com/web/comprehensive-webfonts/#critical-foft-preload
