    @jchiatt @raymondcamden I’m guessing no—seems that global data needs to reside in the input directory for now. There is some movement on the issue tracker to get away from that (github.com/11ty/eleventy/issues/67) requirement. Also: directory data files definitely don’t work outside of the input directory.
